Position: Paralegal
Location: Mumbai – Andheri East (Chakala)
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (6 days a week, Sunday off)
Salary: ₹20,000 per month
Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support legal operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role offers exposure to a wide range of legal functions including compliance, contract management, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts related to procurement, logistics, suppliers, and operations
- Ensure compliance with central, state, and local regulations, including industrial and environmental laws
- Support labour law compliance, employee relations, and union matters
- Assist in litigation processes and coordinate with external legal counsel
- Maintain corporate records and assist in governance documentation
- Ensure environmental and safety compliance in coordination with internal teams
- Manage legal documentation systems for audit readiness
- Conduct legal research on regulatory and industry-specific matters
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paralegal (preferably in manufacturing or industrial sector)
- Basic understanding of NCLT procedures and corporate compliance
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience in supply chain and procurement contracts
- Knowledge of labour laws and union agreements
- Familiarity with environmental compliance processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
Work Environment
- Office-based role within a manufacturing setup
- Occasional coordination with operational teams and external stakeholders
- Safety training and compliance protocols will be provided
