About the Opportunity
Excellent Traders India is a premier trading organization seeking a meticulous and driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in managing our complex import transactions, ensuring robust regulatory compliance, and maintaining the financial integrity of our expanding operations.

Role Overview
- Job Title: Senior Accountant – Accounts , Taxation and Import & Compliances
- Location: Near Shivaji Park Metro Station (Opp. Pillar No. 149), New Delhi
- Experience: 2–4 Years
- Compensation: ₹30,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Your expertise will be utilized across several critical financial functions:
- Import & Logistics: Expertly handle import accounting, including coordination with clearing agents and managing specialized trade documentation.
- Taxation & Compliance: End-to-end management of GST filing, TDS calculations, and ensuring 100% adherence to statutory regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Preparation and maintenance of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and monthly financial summaries.
- Ledger Management: Overseeing Debit/Credit (DR/CR) entries, bank reconciliations, and vendor/customer account audits.
- Inventory Control: Maintaining precise stock records and performing regular inventory reconciliations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and modern accounting software.
- Core Knowledge: A strong command over GST, TDS, and Indian Taxation laws.
- Industry Context: Previous experience in Import/Export or Trading environments is highly preferred.
- Attributes: Exceptional analytical skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
