Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our financial records. Your core duties will include:
- Transaction Auditing: Review and verify bank account transactions for both Savings and Current accounts.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Audit Documentation: Support the senior team in maintaining thorough audit trails and financial documentation.
- Reporting: Utilize MS Excel and MS Word to prepare concise audit summaries and financial reports.
- Compliance: Check and verify account entries and balances to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong Fundamentals: A clear understanding of basic accounting principles and banking operations.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and MS Word.
- Analytical Mindset: High attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in complex financial data.
- Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a disciplined approach to documentation.
Preferred: Candidates with a prior internship or specialized training in auditing/accounting.
